A short drive south from the Laughlin casino’s you’ll find one of the best beach-like recreation areas in southern Nevada. Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area is a 2,100-acre Nevada park boasting low hills, sandy washes, bush-covered flats and marshland located on the west bank of the Colorado River in the Lower Colorado River Valley.

The river shoreline features a 2 mile sandy beach that’s located 8 miles south of the Davis Dam, which keep the water cool & clean. Offering full amenities, it’s a perfect year round get-away for beach-going, picnics, sunbathing, swimming, jet skiing, boating, fishing, & nearby RV & tent camping.
