Boulder Beach, Lake Mead National Recreational Area

Located just minutes from the Las Vegas Valley, Boulder Beach stretches more than a mile along the shoreline of the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead. The beach is popular for swimming, boating, sailing, fishing, and hiking. Stay the night in a nearby campground or RV park, enjoy a picnic while viewing the lake and stroll along the easy trails.

Boulder Beach has a variety of multi-use beaches, including a swim beach popular for families and triathletes alike. Bathrooms & life vest are available. The surface is graded regularly, but tends to be rocky. To the south, visitors can setup for the day with their watercraft and enjoy boating in the Boulder Basin. Open dawn till dusk. Note: National Park Service fee required.
